Avoid these safety hazards when installing negative pressure Roots blowers

The installation of Roots blower is an very important step, its installation process is also more complicated, and there are many parts, large Roots blower also needs to use other mechanical equipment to assist the installation.

1. Bolted connection

In general, in the installation of Roots blowers, the bolt and nut holes must be set in advance. During the installation of Roots blower, the position deviation is objective, such as the position of the reserved hole is not standardized, or the position of the embedded bolt is greatly deviated. If the connection is too large, long-term electromagnetic force and mechanical force action, causing mechanical fatigue of the bolt, so that the bolt and nut connection slack, the nut wire or damage, in this case, due to loose connection equipment failure.

2. Equipment vibration

The installation of Roots blower has certain particularity, long operation and use time, and the mechanical vibration during operation is relatively large, shortening the service life of the equipment, and increasing the probability of later maintenance and debugging. The common problems are mainly the concentricity difference between the shell and the rotor, the friction between the stator and the rotor, the bearing clearance is too large or the rotor imbalance. The common problems of motor are: uneven air gap between rotor and stator, mutual friction and rotor imbalance. In the operation of the electro-mechanical pump, there is a big difference between the actual participation and the rated standard parameters, and the pump operation is unstable, in this case, the operator can not operate the pump under the specified parameters.

3.The current exceeds the standard

During the installation of Roots blower, the current problem occurs, among which the over-current problem is more common. Its causes are mainly reflected in: the motor power is too large, the power line has a high resistance and the phase of the power supply is insufficient. The causes of pump over-current include three aspects. Rotor and housing friction, clothing into the pump body, bearing damage.

It must be noted that the equipment itself may cause these current problems, but in actual operation, the personnel operation is not standardized, will also cause overcurrent problems, affect the later installation, and bury more security risks for the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
