Yesterday we had a technical discussion online with toby, a customer from Philippines. Today, a few simple questions to share with you.
Q: as you say, we have a very rich product range, Which series products you think are widely used in Philippines?
A: Many clients usually use HDSR series roots blowers and HDLH series roots blowers. These two series are widely used in Philippines industries, such as sewage treatment, aquaculture and other engineering etc.
Our HDSR series 3-lobe roots blower. Capacity range: 0.6m³/min-198m³/min Pressure rise: 9.8kpa-98kpa. It’s the type of belt transmission.The roots blowers, mainly made in cast iron material, which widely used as wastewater treatment as blowers, STP (sewage treatment plant) air blowers, ETP (effluent treatment plan）air blowers, pneumatic conveying air blowers, FGD (Flue gas desulfurization) oxidation blowers, aquaculture fish farming shrimp farming air blowers etc. It can be used as pressure blower or vacuum blower.
Q: Pressure is from 9.8kpa to 98kpa, the range of parameters is very wide. How about the HDLH series roots blowers?
A: just a bit smaller than HDSR series. Bore: 1.5 inch~16 inch Capacity: 0.5~360m³/min Pressure: 0~8000mmAq. It has a plenty of advantages, such as stable air flow and less pressure variation; clean air not with oil moist; construction simple and easy maintence; bearing oil lubrication; good cooling effect; long service life.
Q: As we known, aquaculture is very popular industry in southeast Asia countries, could you specifically talk about the application of our Roots blower in this industry?
A: Of course my friend, it’s truely commond about aquaculture in southeast Asia countries, especially Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia etc. The Philippines is one of the main fish and shrimp suppliers to the world in this field. Roots blowers work as an role to continuous supply fresh air and oxygen to aqua farm. It's enable to increase shrimp production, compared to natural reproduction of these organisms. Generally, blowers are installed near ponds and farms to transfer oxygen to the bottom through Pv (pipeline and nanotubes) .The size of roots blowers depends on the depth of the fish farm or shrimp pond. Because of this, our company Shandong Huadong Blower provides both water cooling and air cooling models, and wide range capacities, to meet different scale farm. But in fact, aquaculture mostly needs low pressure blowers, so air cooling blower is the most suitable one used for aquaculture.
Q: Really very professional introduction. Could you say some features about it?
A:1. Supply 100% oil-free air. Roots blowers are totally dry machine when delivery. According to different models, there are 3-6 oil seals to prevent any oil leakage. You know, no matter aquaculture or sewage treatment specific process, all request clean air. So 100% oil-free air is very important to these industries.
2. High power efficient, in aquaculture industry, it can handle high flow rates, and it's insensitive to water depth vibrations they deliver.
3. Many clients are familiar with roots blower running on electric motor. Actually, It also can run on diesel engine. The efficiency and functionality are as well as running on motor. In case of shortage of power in remote areas ponds, they are very suitable.
4. The oxygen supply of the Roots blower is very uniform and stable, because it is aerated underwater. That is impossible to cause vibration to the water surface, so the life of water products will not affected.
5. Free maintenance: especially in sewage plant, some process requests continuous running, so, free or few daily maintenance is very important to keep the system operate smoothly
